On Thursday, 19th November 2015, Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT), signed investment agreements with Twenty Eight (28) Nobin Udyoktas(NU), who presented their business proposals at the 20th In-house Executive Design Lab of GTT/138th Design Lab (Yunus Centre) at the Social Business Learning Centre (SBLC) of GTT. The meeting was chaired by Managing Director of Grameen Shakti, Ms. Nurjahan Begum. Also present in the meeting was Mr. Md. Ehsanul Bari, Managing Director of Grameen Krishi Foundation & Ms. Parveen Mahmud, Managing Director of Grameen Telecom Trust with the social business team of GTT.
This was the Fifty Sixth (56th) batch of Nobin Udyokta signing investment agreements with GTT and this takes the total number of NU projects signed to Six Hundred Eighty Five (685). Grameen Telecom Trust under its Nobin Udyokta program is providing assistance to the new entrepreneurs through investments and other ancillary services.
